How to Create Binance API for Coinsteum Crypto AI Copy Trading ?
Step 1: Log in to Your Binance Account
- Go to the Binance website or use the Binance app.
- Log in to your account with your credentials.
Step 2: Access API Management
- Once logged in, navigate to your account settings:
- On the web: Hover over the profile icon in the top right corner and click on API Management.
- On the app: Tap on your profile icon and search for API Management in the menu.
Step 3: Create a New API
- In the API Management section, you will see an option to Create API.
- You will be asked to label your API key with a name (e.g., “Coinsteum”).
- Enter the label name and click Create API.
Step 4: Security Verification
- Binance will prompt you to complete a security verification step:
- Depending on your account settings, you may need to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator, SMS, or email verification.
- Enter the required verification codes to proceed.
Step 5: API Key and Secret
- Once verification is complete, Binance will generate your API Key and Secret Key.
- Make sure to copy and store these keys in a secure location (e.g., password manager). The Secret Key will only be shown once, so if you lose it, you’ll need to create a new API.
Step 6: Configure API Permissions
- You can configure the permissions for your API based on your needs:
- Read-only: Allows access to view data.
- Enable Spot & Margin Trading: Allows the API to perform trading operations.
- Withdrawals: (Highly sensitive) Allows the API to withdraw funds from your account.
- It’s recommended to only grant the necessary permissions to minimize security risks.
Step 7: IP Whitelist (Optional but Recommended)
- To enhance security, you can restrict the API access to specific IP addresses by enabling the IP Whitelist -Â 82.180.147.141.
- Only the whitelisted IPs will be able to use the API, which protects against unauthorized access.
Step 8: Save and Use the API
- After setting permissions and configuring security settings, click Save.
- Your API is now ready to use with third-party applications, trading bots, or for integration with your own tools.
Additional Security Measures:
- Regularly review API activity: Always monitor your API for unusual activity.
- Rotate API keys: If you suspect your API key has been compromised, delete the existing key and create a new one.
With your API key and secret, you can integrate Binance with other platforms or tools as needed!
